The Gathering is an all-volunteer effort.  It's purpose is to provide an event where all OPHS alumni from any class (and whether you walked the walk or not) can enjoy each others' company in a light-hearted setting for one evening each year.  For those of us getting on in years, such opportunities seem more valuable as the time passes.

 Staff, teachers and administrators who have served our alumni are VERY welcome to join us.

This alumni GATHERING is made possible largely due to Richard Adams, class of 1971, whose brainchild OPHS.NET is. OPHS.NET is for and by OPHS alumni and provides a superb communication forum for OPHS alumni. Richard maintains the lion's share of the overall website, as well as the sites for his particular and most other classyears. It has been a labor of love for him, but quite a labor all the same. Everyone should take a minute to thank him at THE GATHERING.
